SGAC represents the state government affairs professionals who have multi-state responsibilities and organizations whose business in multiple states includes providing clients public relations, legislative or regulatory representation, political management, or legislative and regulatory reporting and analysis. For over 30 years SGAC has built its reputation on the objective of promoting efficient and effective government. SGAC has also championed ethical and professional standards, and fostered the professional growth of state government professionals in the nation’s most influential companies. SGAC as an organization does not take positions on public policy; our activities focus primarily on networking and professional development. Additionally, SGAC provides opportunities for its members to meet and work with state legislative leaders, including interaction with NCSL, CSG and ALEC.
